Nobody really knows what their “best” is, but we can all tell if we haven’t gotten the job done well. Excellence is always getting the job done well and then going the extra mile.
We believe in being unselfish with our abilities and resources including our time and money and this means always doing a little more for others than they expect. This the “Golden Rule” in practice: doing to and for others as we would wish they would do to and for us.
We believe in thinking neither less nor more of ourselves than we should. This includes giving credit where it is due, understanding our own abilities and limitations, and being unswayed in our resolve by neither flattery nor criticism.
There must be a coherence or cohesion between our words and our actions. We do what we say we are going to do even if it is inconvenient. The truth is whatever conforms with reality and we believe reality should never be selectively altered or “spun” for personal gain. We tell the truth even if it is inconvenient to do so.
In a world obsessed with fairness or the perception of it, we believe in impartiality in the application of our guiding principles to all whether they be employees, customers, competitors, or teaming partners.
As the saying goes, to err is human. Since we too err, we believe in showing forbearance as we forgive ourselves and others.
We believe in being accountable, responsible, and faithful with the skills and resources that have been entrusted to us.
